What did you do on Easter Sunday, did you have an egg hunt in someone's backyard, or maybe in the house due to the weather? How about trying it in the great outdoors? The Easter Bunny knew our girls wouldn't be at home to partake in the same experiences as other kids, so he left them a personal note and hid eggs with little treats all along the Ice Age Trail - Mishicot segment.

The girls found them all, except for one egg which a twenty-something girl picked up near the playground (and I hope it brought her as much joy as it would've given the four year-old!). The hunt was just as exciting, or more so, as the treats inside, and the girls loved seeing all the different shapes and colors hidden in nature's nooks and crannys.

It also made them more aware of their surroundings, and engaged in the trail, and isn't that what this through-hike is all about?
